I?m sure you?ve all heard of the Smoked By Windows Phone challenge by now; if not it?s basically a challenge run by BenThePcGuy?where he challenges any other?Smartphone?OS user to complete a task faster than he does it on his WP (His current weapon of choice is the Lumia 800). Currently WPs are winning 90% of the challenges (at MWC out of 20 matches they only payed up 3 times); and to keep things interesting they just upped the prize to a $1000 Hunger Games edition PC and offering a consolation prize of switching in your losing phone for a brand new windows Phone (Other?then?Lumia 800, does that mean 710 & 900?)
The promotion will run in Microsoft?s Stores between noon and 7PM local time. All modern devices such as iPhones, Android handsets, and RIM?s BlackBerry devices are accepted.
The new $1,000 Windows Phone challenge starts today, and is part of The Hunger Games opening weekend. The promotion will end on March 26th.
Damn?. now I wish I still had the 808 on me again?. oh well 100 Euros will have to do.
