The Vikings are deep at defensive end, and thin at linebacker.

So it made sense to experiment with Everson Griffen, to give him a few looks in minicamp to see if he could play away from the line of scrimmage.

It apparently worked, as Griffen said he?s been told linebacker would be his primary position when training camp opens July 27.

?That?s what I?m looking at,? Griffen told Tom Pelissero of 1500ESPN.com. ?I?m looking [to] get on the field and show them what I can do and show them I can be an impact right away at linebacker.?

Griffen said he was ?dropping pounds? and was down to 263 to get ready for the change. He?s been working out alongside Cardinals wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald at the University of Minnesota.

?Just trying to come back in the best shape possible,? Griffen said. ?Fast, quick, the whole nine.?

Vikings starters Jared Allen and Brian Robison combined for nearly 90 percent of the snaps at defensive end, but Griffen showed enough in limited work (4.0 sacks) that the Vikings wanted to expand his role.

He?s been listed at 273 pounds in the past, and if he shows up at their suggested 265, he?s still big for a 4-3 outside linebacker. But he expects to continue to get snaps as an end and as the ?Joker,? on passing downs as well.

?I expect to be doing that, too,? Griffen said. ?When camp starts, whatever they?ve got for me, I?m just going to execute. I?m just going to go out there and ? no buts this time, this and this. Execute my assignment and make plays and show them that I?m ready to play, that I?m mature enough, that I?m ready and I?m trying to take it to that next step.

?I want to be one of them guys that?s going to be a big impact on us winning games and going to the playoffs and even try to win a Super Bowl. It?s early right now, but I?m just ready to go, man. Ready to just get out there and show Minnesota what I can do. Show the owners, show just everybody how I can contribute to the team.?

Maturity has always been a bit of a question with Griffen, and much of the reason they were able to get him in the fourth round of the 2010 draft. But if he?s serious about getting himself in shape to make a significant switch, the Vikings might have a serious pass-rush in 2012.

Lesbian character Karen (played by lesbian actress Joanna Johnson) came out to her brother "Dollar" Bill on the soap opera The Bold and the Beautiful. While Karen expected the worst from Bill, he surprised her with his positive reaction and by welcoming her girlfriend, Dani (Crystal Chappell) to the family. As a bonus, viewers were also treated to some all-too-infrequent lesbian PDA.

Cheney married Heather Poe in Washington, D.C. in June, and Romney opposes "marriage between people of the same gender."?

Hajim and featuring the voices of Claudia Black, Cree Summer and Tara Strong. The film will screen at Stan Lee's Comikaze and may be just what the doctor ordered for all of you still writing Starbuck/Six BSG slash fiction.

Lita Ford?told?Vice?she once quit?The Runaways?when she found out "all the members were gay." She reconsidered, though, when she realized what a great opportunity she'd be missing. Ford said, " I quit, because it freaked me out. I didn't know how to handle it. I wasn't prepared for it. So I went home, and I was home for a couple of days, and I started thinking about it, and I started thinking so what. So what. What's the big deal....I started thinking please call me back, call me back and--cuz I quit--I started thinking oh god, I quit. She must have taken a note from bandmate Joan Jett, who didn't give a damn about her bad reputation.

GLAAD's Spanish-Language Media Strategist Brian Pacheco recently wrote about traveling to Mexico City to present a GLAAD Media Award?to Argos TV's?Las Aparicio?for Outstanding Novela. The show featured a love affair between Mariana Torres (played by?Er?ndira Ibarra) and Julia Aparicio (Liz Gallardo). Pacheco was delighted to be so warmly received and happy to find that "Argos TV genuinely and passionately took their responsibility as a media outlet to educate their viewers by showing fair, accurate and inclusive images of LGBT people very seriously."

Okay I have a question; what exactly is data entry perform? How does 1 get into it? Is it an actual profession, meaning some thing you do for the rest of one?s life, or is it just a stepping stone on the road to bigger and far better points? I cant say I know anyone who went to college to study information entry, a four year college or a community college. But, I mean men and women do it of course; there are actually now entire businesses devoted solely to providing this service.

Information entry work; it sounds virtually depressing even though doesnt it. I mean is it truly anything extra than that, information entry? The name appears fairly self explanatory. So fundamentally I image some poor person sitting in one of 100 cubicles inside a big square room hunched over a laptop or computer. Certainly the chair is just not that comfy; because what office chair ever is? The poor person in the desk also has on quite thick glasses due to the fact their vision has deteriorated so a great deal from staring at endless sheets of papers just to modify their concentrate to a bright laptop screen, and their hands have turned into claws from so much typing. Needless to say one of the most frustrating issue about the job is the fact that it never ends. There is no target to be reached; no final page within the stack of papers, since after you finish the stack there?s just one more one particular underneath it. There is certainly usually additional data to be entered.

I know numerous individuals do this but I feel the lack of a purpose in itself would drive me crazy. I am the type of person which has to perform towards something and without a target I tend to get frustrated along with a small crazy. Isnt that why they say postal workers go crazy? I am surprised information entry workers do not have the same reputation.

Square Enix has announced that Final Fantasy VII will be released exclusively on the Square Enix eStore later this year as a digital download for PC.

This version of the game will have new features that will help players relive what some consider to be the best game in the franchises 25 year history. New features include cloud saves and a game editor that will allow players to increase their health, magic and money. There are also plans to add an in-game achievement system that will allow you to share your progress with friends online.

The idea of game editors isn?t new. In fact lots of people used them back in the day, and still do so today. Including one with this release is puzzling. Perhaps Square Enix wants new players to be able to simply enjoy the game and its story without having to actually put effort into leveling? Also, not having the game on Steam is going to be a no-sell for a lot of PC gamers out there. What?s the point in having some achievement system if it?s going to be self contained in a single game? It sounds like there will be some way to share these achievements with others, but wouldn?t the easier way have been to make the game available on an existing platform like Steam and have the achievements displayed there? And what are the chances that the game will run higher than it?s 800?600 resolution from when it was first released on the PC? Probably pretty slim.

Will you be buying Final Fantasy VII when it comes out later this year? Or have you already played it and/or purchased it several times already and don?t feel like putting down more money for the same game yet again? Let us know what you think in our forums!
